Marchesi di Barolo - Barolo (Tradizione) 2016

No rating
750 ml
  • Tart Cherry and Licorice, with a Robust Structure and Aging Potential

As one of Italy's most renowned red wines, Barolo is celebrated for its elegance, complexity, and age-worthiness. Its well-structured tannins and balanced acidity contribute to its longevity, making it a standout choice among similar wines.

The wine is made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes harvested from select vineyards in the Barolo DOCG area.

Following fermentation, it undergoes extended maceration to extract maximum flavor and color. Aging takes place in large oak casks for a minimum of two years, followed by additional aging in the bottle before release.

Marchesi di Barolo, located in the heart of the Langhe region, has a rich history dating back to the early 19th century. As one of the oldest wine estates in Piedmont, it has established a legacy of producing exceptional Barolo wines that capture the essence of the land.

This Barolo pairs exceptionally well with hearty dishes such as braised beef, roasted game, and aged cheeses.
