The story of Kwak Rouge ties back to Pauwel Kwak, an inventive brewer and innkeeper from the time of Napoleon. In 1982, inspired by Pauwel's legacy, Ivo Bosteels created the original "Pauwel Kwak" amber beer and its iconic glass design. The Kwak range, which includes Kwak Rouge, was expanded in 2022, continuing the tradition of ingenuity in brewing.
