The Knockando distillery is located in a village of the same name in Moray, Scotland. It was founded in 1898.
In each bottle you will always find the product of only one vintage - a peculiarity that continues to distinguish Knockando from almost all other single malts.
This Knockando 12 Years Old matures for at least 12 years in bourbon casks. Particularly fine, fruity and subtle Speyside whisky with nutty, floral flavours.

Nose
The nose is quite gentle and very fragrant. Notes of waxy manuka honey, hints of malty barley and roots with a touch of stemmy newly cut hay. There is a very supple, chewy peat lying quietly in the background.
Palate
The palate is quite full with notes of heather roots and damp earth, notes of honeyed sweetness with Jamaica ginger cake, a touch of rum with malty peat.
Finish
The finish is quite long with winter spice and crystallized stem ginger with cereal notes.

I'll be brief: exquisite, fragrant, smooth, honeyed and gingery dram.

The delicate and fragrant aroma of this whisky is mesmerizing, leaving one thankful for the sensory journey it provides. The smooth and honeyed body gracefully caresses the palate, releasing a symphony of flavors that dance with each sip. The medium-length finish lingers, showcasing the cereal notes and hint of ginger, making each sip a special experience to be savored.
