Chivite Las Fincas is a refined rosé wine from Spain's Navarra region, crafted through the collaboration of the Chivite winemaking family and renowned chef Juan Mari Arzak. This wine blends 65% Garnacha Tinta and 35% Tempranillo grapes, offering a harmonious balance of freshness and complexity.
In the glass, it presents a very pale pink hue. The nose is greeted with elegant aromas of rose petals and fresh red fruits, including pomegranate, strawberries, and raspberries. On the palate, it is fresh, fruity, and tasty, with a pleasant unctuousness and a well-structured body.
Produced at Finca Legardeta, one of the northernmost vineyards in the Iberian Peninsula, this rosé benefits from a unique Atlantic-Continental climate. The grapes are harvested at optimal maturity and undergo traditional "sangrado" (bleeding) after a brief maceration. Fermentation occurs at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging on its lees for approximately six months.
