Tequila Barajas Reposado: Rich, Elegant & Oak-Inflected Mexican Tequila

Tequila Barajas Reposado is a celebrated expression from Tequilera Barajas, crafted under Maestro Tequilero Gerardo Barajas using a pioneering “Desfibrador” extraction technique.

This Reposado variant is aged in French oak barrels for roughly 8 to 11 months, giving it a brilliant golden hue and a refined profile.

On the nose, expect aromas of cooked agave, light tropical fruits like pineapple and peach, hints of lime, and subtle pear undertones. The palate is supple and warm, combining cooked agave, herbal notes, citrus zest, pear, and a touch of honey with gentle oak influence and minerality. The finish is elegant and lingering, with soft oak spice and agave brightness lingering on the palate.

Best enjoyed neat or over a large ice cube, at about 16–18 °C to allow its aromatic layers to emerge. It also works beautifully in upscale tequila cocktails.

This Reposado pairs wonderfully with grilled seafood, smoked dishes, mole sauces, and citrus-infused appetizers.
