Siete Leguas Tequila Reposado (50ml)

Siete Leguas Tequila Reposado 50ml: A Smooth and Refined Mexican Tequila

Siete Leguas Tequila Reposado is a premium Mexican tequila crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco. Established in 1952, Siete Leguas is known for its traditional tequila-making heritage and distinctive agave-forward character. This reposado expression is aged for approximately eight months in white oak barrels, allowing the natural sweetness of cooked agave to develop alongside soft vanilla, warm spices and delicate woody notes. Presented in a convenient 50ml miniature bottle, it is ideal for tasting, gifting or exploring the character of a traditionally crafted Mexican spirit.

In the glass, Siete Leguas Reposado displays a soft golden-amber colour with subtle greenish highlights. The nose reveals rich cooked agave aromas complemented by fresh citrus, gentle herbal notes, vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate, sweet agave flavours mingle with hints of caramel, butterscotch and dried fruit, while cinnamon, black pepper and light mineral nuances add complexity. Its smooth texture and balanced combination of fresh agave and barrel-derived flavours lead to a lingering finish with gentle spice and oak.

Produced in the highlands of Jalisco, Siete Leguas reflects a long-standing commitment to traditional tequila craftsmanship. The agave is cooked before extraction, with the producer using both traditional tahona stone milling and mechanical milling methods. The resulting spirit is distilled and rested in white oak barrels, where it develops additional depth and a soft golden hue while retaining the fresh, earthy and slightly sweet character of the agave. This balance between traditional production and measured barrel ageing defines the reposado style.

Siete Leguas Reposado stands out for its harmony of agave freshness and gentle oak influence. Cooked agave remains at the centre of the flavour profile, supported by citrus and herbal notes that keep the spirit lively. Vanilla, caramel and baking spices contribute warmth and roundness without overwhelming the natural agave character. The result is a versatile tequila that appeals to those who appreciate both the earthy freshness of blanco tequila and the added complexity of an aged expression.

For the best tasting experience, serve Siete Leguas Tequila Reposado neat at room temperature in a tequila tasting glass. Allowing it to rest briefly in the glass helps reveal its layered aromas and flavours. It can also be enjoyed over a large ice cube or used in cocktails such as a classic Margarita, Paloma or Tequila Old Fashioned, where its citrus, vanilla and oak notes complement the other ingredients.

For food pairing, Siete Leguas Reposado works particularly well with grilled beef, roasted chicken, pork tacos and smoky barbecue dishes. Its cooked agave and peppery character also complement Mexican cuisine, grilled prawns, spicy appetisers and mature cheeses. For an after-dinner pairing, try it with dark chocolate, caramel desserts or roasted nuts to bring out its warm vanilla and oak flavours.

Whether enjoyed during a tasting in Jumeirah, paired with dinner in Dubai Marina, or added to a premium spirits selection in Downtown Dubai, Siete Leguas Tequila Reposado 50ml offers a compact introduction to the craftsmanship of Jalisco. Its miniature format is also suited to curated tasting experiences and special occasions around Palm Jumeirah, Yas Island and Saadiyat Island, as well as gatherings across Al Maryah Island and Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi.
