  Salvator stands out for its strong and traditional qualities, being the patriarch of strong beers. It uniquely combines water, malted barley, yeast, and hops, including Herkules and Hallertauer Tradition varieties, along with Pilsner and Munich malt varieties​.

  
  

  The brewing process for Salvator emphasizes the use of dark malt barley, known as “Munich malt,” which contributes to the beer’s dark, chestnut color.   The Salvator’s historical significance is rooted deeply in the traditions established by the Paulaner monks.
