Château La Gaffelière Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2018 is an impressive expression of Bordeaux's Right Bank, produced at a historic estate nestled between the renowned slopes of Château Pavie and Château Ausone. At Château La Gaffelière, the Merlot harvest took place from 10 to 25 September, followed by Cabernet Franc from 2 to 9 October. After parcel-by-parcel vinification and extended maceration, the wine matured for approximately 14 to 16 months in French oak barrels, around 60% of which were new. This measured maturation adds texture and complexity while allowing the wine's fruit and limestone-influenced character to remain prominent. The result is a structured, age-worthy Saint-Émilion that can be enjoyed with careful decanting or cellared to develop further nuance.

Serve at approximately 16–18°C, allowing the wine to breathe for an hour or more before drinking.
