About The Winery

Federico Graziani is one of the most respected names in the revival of Mount Etna’s historic vineyards. A former sommelier turned winemaker, he has dedicated his career to understanding the delicate balance of Nerello Mascalese and its ancient companion varieties. After years working alongside legendary Etna figures, he established his own label with a deep commitment to traditional practices, native varieties, and extreme mountain viticulture.

His vineyards sit at impressive altitudes, rooted in soils composed of fractured basalt, lava stone, sand, and ash — one of the most complex geological mosaics in Italy. Graziani works with meticulous care, practising organic methods and extremely low yields to ensure purity and precision in every bunch. Fermentations rely on native yeasts, extraction is gentle and thoughtful, and ageing takes place in neutral vessels to preserve the wine’s clarity and volcanic identity.
