Cheerday Extra Strong Beer 12% (24-Pack): A Bold Chinese Lager with Rich Malt Character

Cheerday Extra Strong Beer 12% is a high-strength lager produced by Hangzhou Cheerday Brewery, a Chinese brewery established in 1985 near Qiandao Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The brewery draws on the region's natural water resources and combines traditional brewing principles with modern production techniques. Created for drinkers who prefer a more intense beer, this extra-strong lager offers pronounced malt character and elevated alcohol content. The 24-pack provides a convenient option for stocking up for social occasions or adding a strong beer to your collection.

The beer has a straw-golden appearance, with a grain-forward aroma and subtle malt sweetness. On the palate, expect a robust combination of cereal notes, malty richness and moderate hop bitterness. Its fuller flavour profile gives way to a dry, warming finish, reflecting the intensity of its 12% ABV. The balance of malt sweetness and bitterness provides a straightforward lager-style drinking experience with a noticeably stronger character than standard beer.

Cheerday Extra Strong Beer is made using familiar brewing ingredients, including water, malted barley, hops and yeast. Its high alcohol content distinguishes it from everyday lagers, while its malt-led flavour keeps the profile familiar to strong-beer enthusiasts. Produced by a brewery with experience supplying international markets, Cheerday offers a range of beer styles and formats. The 24-pack is particularly practical for those who prefer to purchase multiple cans together.

Serve well chilled and pour gently into a clean beer glass to appreciate its colour, aroma and flavour. Its rich malt profile pairs well with grilled beef, barbecue ribs, spicy sausages and richly seasoned chicken. Salty snacks, roasted nuts and mature cheeses also complement its fuller character. At 12% ABV, this beer is considerably stronger than a typical lager, so enjoy it slowly in modest servings and drink responsibly.
