Made from old Bladnock Stocks
Bladnoch Distillery was founded in 1817 and has changed hands several times since then. In 2017 it was acquired by Australian entrepreneur David Prior who installed all-new equipment. It is one of only six remaining Lowland Single Malt distilleries that remain, and it is the furthest south in Scotland.
Bladnoch Adela 15 Year Old Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is created from the distillery’s old stocks that were aged for at least 15 years in Oloroso Sherry casks. It was released in 2017 to celebrate the reopening of the distillery. It’s non-chill filtered and contains zero artificial colorings, all the beautiful hues you see come from American and Spanish oak.
Chocolatey and rich with notes of strawberry, licorice, and clove leading the way. Delicious.
